I am Danish and have lived in England for over 20 years. My previous background and qualification is in care where I have worked both in elderly care and mental health services. My career change to Massage therapy came through being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009 when my youngest daughter was just 6 months old. Experiencing personally the effects cancer can have both mentally and physically, inspired me to seek to help others through massage, the restorative therapeutic treatment which enhances healing, general wellbeing as well as de-stressing the body and mind. Qualifying as a massage therapist has ultimately turned an otherwise very negative and life changing experience in my life into something very positive. I hold all relevant ITEC qualifications for all therapies provided and I am also proud to be qualified oncology massage therapist I look forward to welcoming everyone to the treatment room and am happy to have a chat prior to booking to ensure the best treatment for each individual.
