Hi, my name is Lynne and I am a Clinical Sport and Remedial massage therapist specialising in Scar Therapy, Oncology and Remedial massage. Based on the third largest island in the Channel Islands, I have the delight of working with a wide range of people, many of whom have moved here to retire and for the peace and tranquility of this island. I have been working with individuals for over 12 years helping ease them out of pain and back into movement. 8 years ago I trained in working with scars, a gentle focused hands on method, which dovetails beautifully with oncology massage. All of my sessions are done working with my client, as a whole person, not just a medical diagnosis, and working to reduce trauma (physical and emotional) using an approach that encourages the parasympathetic nervous system – rest and relax – and away from sympathetic nervous system on high alert – fight/flight/freeze etc.
